I just paid another visit to Snip Avenue and this time, I did a dye job and treatment to even out the colour of my badly-dyed hair.

As you can see, my hair colour used to be really uneven cause I used cheapo Revlon box dyes I bought for US$6 each, and dyed my hair a medium brown with ‘blonde” streaks (that didn’t even turn out blonde) at my cousin’s house in Arizona in March this year.

But first, it was time for a Loreal treatment. Just woke up +  completely bare faced haha don’t mind me

While doing the treatment, I was SO tempted to choose an outrageous colour from the colour booklet! Well I might have if not for my internship…

It was a tough choice given the wide variety of colours and different brands.

In the end I picked a medium brown – a mixture of Loreal's B5.03 and N7.31

And this was the end result……

So contented with the colour of my hair now! It looks so fresh and healthy. Evidently, my hair looks so much glossier, smoother and even-coloured after the dye and treatment. Just compare the before and after photos, my old hair looked so dry and...dead. You might think that the treatment only lasts for a while, but fact is, if you upkeep your hair after the treatment (ie: don't expose it to too much heat from tongs or hair dryer), it'll still remain as smooth! Of course, it'd be good if you can go for regular treatments too:)

If I knew what I was in for, would I be so upset and disordered about the whole thing right now? And if you have to know, I agreed even before i watched the sample vid cause I loved working with her, and I did it for only a small token. I admit it's really my fault for not clarifying beforehand, do all you judgmental fucks can go bark up another tree, you're not my friends your opinions don't matter.

Did something out of kindness for a friend and receiving so much flack for it right now. In my defence, I didn't even know the nature of it till the day itself because I was busy at work when I was informed about it, and didn't manage to watch the sample video/forgot to watch it after I ended work. I probably woudn't have done it if I had watched the sample beforehand, as it's way against my morals. But at the end of the day, it's really my fault for not being clear about it before the day itself.

But now that it's up, part of me feels that I've sinned so bad, yet another part of me feels that it isn't as bad as I think it is.

On a happier note, can I say I love my job? It keeps me busy and t's one of the few things keeping me sane at this period of time.

Water-Venture (Pasir Ris) is an event organised by the People's Association and held in conjunction with Climb On Singapore 2011. Fash Mob has added 2 new looks to my work wardrobe! Well I don't exactly have a "work wardrobe" but I do have a set of clothes that I set aside for work, and these two bottoms belong in that category:)

These pants (I'd like to call them my alladin pants^^) are great for lazy/busy days cause they're just so comfy! Moreover, it elongates your legs and makes you look taller due to it's flare cut and high waist. It also comes in an interesting shade of green/blue (almost Tiffany blue!). Chose this colour cause I wanted to be adventurous but I haven't exactly found the right colored top to pair it with yet (suggestions, anyoneee?).

This pair of skirt is such an office necessity! It might look like your boring office skirt from afar but it actually has drapes on a tulip cut. For women with strict work attire, ditch your boring pinstriped office skirts and try this one instead. It's so much more flattering, you'll feel great in it and your boss would still approve! You've got to admit, it's really hard finding nice bottoms like these.

If you remember, I did an advertorial for Six & Twelve quite a while ago - twice infact, and they're back here again. They have definitely grown since and have even started manufacturing their own clothes.

The 2 pieces I picked are made of chiffon and in navy (my fav!) I love the colour combination of this dress. The cut of this dress is realy flattering, especially for a skinny girl like me. Unlike most chiffon pieces, this dress is of a thicker material, making it more structured so the skirt won't fly up in the wind. It also doesn't get caught onto sharp things/jewellery so easily!

This chiffon blazer is perfect for work. It really keeps you warm (I think it's the material) but it's still lightweight at the same time. It features a purple satin detail at the end of the sleeve which you can choose to show (by folding the sleeves up) or hide (by unfolding the sleeves). Even my mom loves it (she wore it to lunch on Saturday)!
